Get Smart Schools (GSS) is a nonprofit organization in Colorado dedicated to dramatically increasing the number of high-quality, autonomous schools serving low-income students throughout the state. Founded in 2008 with the cooperation of several local foundations, school leaders, and nonprofit organizations, Get Smart Schools mission is to support the creation of new schools that raise the academic achievement of historically underserved students in Colorado's urban communities.
